We build each and every product here in order to ensure total control over quality and manufacturing integrity throughout the entire process. We also have our HQ offices within the same complex – this ensures that Management is constantly aware of factory floor activity and customer related issues.
This modern 100,000 sq ft building has received over £4.5m investment since 2006.
We store huge amounts of the fundamental materials required in order to facilitate rapid production and delivery as soon as an order is placed.
From beginning to end, the quality is top of the range –
Beginning: Hill Engineering uses high end, plasma steel cutting equipment to create the component parts, before completing the primary shot blasting and sub-assembly.
Middle: Welding is done by robot or by manual high performance pulse system, before the parts undergo machining carried out by using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment. Assembly then takes place.
End: The end product is shot blasted again, painted using a single pass system, then fully inspected and function tested before ever leaving the facility.
Hill Engineering’s insistence on in-house production, gives us total control over output and quality. In turn, every stage of this process is controlled under our ISO9001 quality system.
