Ian’s first foray into coupler development was back in 1996 as a young engineer with innovative ideas and a desire to be the World Leader in attachment safety. Today, Hill operates from a 100000 sq ft purpose built technically advanced complex producing world class couplers and buckets. This significant growth has been driven by Ian’s uncompromising ambition to be the very best within his sector. It’s a position he’s used to and one he works hard to protect but Ian is quick to point out that it is very much a team effort “ We have invested heavily, not only in ensuring our facilities and equipment is primed to meet aggressive production targets but also that we have the people in place to make it happen”.
Chris joined Hill in 2012. He has a real hunger for perfection thus is well suited to the role of Quality Management. Chris was attracted to Hill Engineering by the forward thinking ethos adopted by the company, which flows naturally into their superior products and excellent level of customer service.
Oliver joined Hill 2015 and is responsible for global sales and the companies marketing functions. Oliver is a customer focused and driven individual with many years’ experience from a variety of industries. He leads the team of highly experienced sales professionals the company have on the ground and in house and by introducing best practices and new concepts has and will continue to improve the service and offering to our customers.
Neal’s extensive engineering experience creates uniquely well conceived designs that consistently go on to make crucial differences around the world. Safety and quality are at the heart of everything Neal does and, subsequently, at the heart of everything Hill delivers. Hill’s latest revelation, the TEFRA, takes Coupler safety to a whole new level.
Gerry joined Hill Engineering in July 2012. Gerry has implemented an “instant reaction…immediate result” policy, which ensures that when you place a call to the service team, their reaction is instant leading to a quick turnaround time for your enquiry. Gerry has vast experience in the engineering industry and has incorporated his key ideas and knowledge into the role of After Sales Support Manager at Hill.
William started in Hill Engineering in January 2015 managing the warehouse and dispatch areas. With over 17 years experience in customer facing roles William knows the value of a customer first approach to business. He is keen to make his mark on the plant & construction market in Ireland.
With over 10 years’ experience in the heavy plant sector, Ross brings a wealth of experience with his knowledge of parts and servicing in this sector. The customer is always number one with Ross and he will always be on hand when required. He is a professional in every way and is the Area Sales Manager with responsibility for Scotland and the north of England regions for Hill.
Darren joined Hill in March 2017 and comes with more than 25 years’ experience in the construction equipment industry. He is not only a customer focused professional but also an operator and engineer. Darren is there to ensure our clients receive the first class service we strive to deliver as a company and will be on hand to assist with any of our clients needs in the North of England and Wales regions.
Martyn started with Hill Engineering in April 2017 and comes with more than 22 years’ experience in customer facing roles within the construction equipment industry. Martyn is a widely capable and extremely energetic professional whose favourite part of his job is face-to-face interaction making sure he delivers on the needs and goals for our clients in the South of England and South Wales regions.
Clive joined Hill Engineering in February 2014, after spending in excess of 25 years in aftersales roles. Clive is able to use his experience to ensure customer satisfaction is a priority when dealing with your enquiry and believes in keeping the customer central to everything we do.
Marie has been with Hill since 2007 and, vitally, is the voice on the phone when you make a sales enquiry. She’s the lady who supports the Sales Managers and supports you. Marie knows that Hill’s exceptional products are only half the story… their high standard of customer service is vital and it’s what makes people trust and respect the Hill name.
Julie has been with the company since 2012 and plays a vital role in supporting our Sales Managers and some of the companies most prestigious accounts. She joined Hill’s with over 10 years’ experience in supporting customers at the highest level, and knows exactly what it takes to deliver outstanding customer service.
As one of the newest members of the team Claire joined our business from the advertising sector. She is a client focused professional and quickly adapted to our industry. As part of our dynamic sales support team, Claire, will manage the administrative function for key accounts, client orders and assist with our valued customers queries.
Delise has been with Hill since 2008. She is our Production Planner and her responsibilities include the vital job of ensuring that we plan to manufacture our products in good time to meet our commitments to our customers. She is the vital interface between our sales activities and production operations.
