Introduction

The team in this department consists of Brian Thornbury – Aftersales Manager and Ian Hall, Aftersales Support Administrator.
At Hill Engineering, we recognise the importance of being able to offer a full range of services, to support our customers. The success of our Tefra coupler, which is now entering its 12th year of production, has been based not only on its ease of operation and reliability, but also on our ability to provide advice, technical support and parts, when required.

Advice and support

Our aim is to provide timely and professional support on any issues which arise from the use of our products, whether this is for a Tefra coupler or one of our wide range of Titan attachments. Where necessary, we can call on expertise from other departments at Hill, especially from our Engineering team.

For on-site service, we can utilise our national network on independent mobile service engineers, most of whom have worked for us for many years and are very knowledgeable about our products. If necessary, we can ship parts directly to these persons, so that if they need to attend your site to look at a product issue, they are equipped to rectify the problem with minimal delay. If repairs to your Hill products are needed beyond the warranty period, we can put you in touch directly with one of our engineers to help you deal with the problem.

Parts

We know that our products are used every day, on the front line where you work to meet your customer’s needs. So, when you need a part, you often need it quickly. For this reason, we offer different levels of service
Emergency orders (where order is placed before mid-day) are dispatched the same day, using DHL Express. A complete order tracking and proof of delivery service is available too.
Those customers who can place stock orders can benefit from lower costs of carriage, in circumstances where parts can be dispatched for 3 day delivery. (Terms and conditions apply).
Consignments weighing more than 30kg are sent by road courier service and can be priced individually when required.
Parts can be shipped to virtually anywhere in the word. We accept payment by most credit cards and by BACS

Our approach.

In summary, our aim is to offer you an exemplary level of service at all stages and to ensure your full satisfaction. To support us, our 700 sq.m dedicated parts warehouse holds a vast stock of the full range of parts, including replacement assemblies such as cylinders. More than 90% of our customer’s parts requirements can be supplied from stock, with the remainder usually available the following day. Our mobile service engineers are often able to reach your site within 24 hours and can handle most problems at the first visit. We are Hill Engineering, world renowned manufacturers of the Tefra range of coupler and the Titan range of buckets and other attachments. We know these products better than anyone else.
